THIS INDUSTRY-LEADING PROGRAM SELECTS TOP GRADUATES FROM MASSAGE THERAPY COLLEGES WAITING TO WRITE THEIR PROVINCIAL BOARD EXAMS AND PAIRS THEM WITH OUR EXISTING TEAM OF HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS. THE PURPOSE IS TO TEACH NEW GRADUATES REAL-WORLD SKILLS ON HOW TRUE COLLABORATIVE HEALTHCARE WORKS BY GIVING THEM AN UNDERSTANDING OF OTHER HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONS AND HOW WORKING TOGETHER CAN ENHANCE OPTIMAL PATIENT OUTCOMES.
Serina has graduated from WCCMT and will now be working as a Student Massage Therapist while she waits to take her CMTBC board exams this fall. Throughout the program Serina has had the opportunity to treat a variety of musculoskeletal and orthopedic injuries as well as neurological and systemic health conditions. Serina focuses on the physical and emotional needs of her patients with the primary intention of relieving tension, pain and overall stress with relaxation and therapeutic modalities.
Serina grew up in a small town in the Fraser Valley skiing competitively, as well as trained as a fitness competitor for many years. She understands the demand of balance of the mind and body with active lifestyles or chronic pain and injuries. She enjoys animals, road trips and time with family and friends.
