Maëlle (pronounced MAH-el) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with a Master of Counselling Psychology degree from Adler University in Vancouver.

Maëlle was born in France and came to Canada in 2016, bringing with her a unique multicultural perspective that enriches her practice.

Specializing in anxiety, depression, chronic pain, burnout, trauma, grief, life transitions, and relationship issues, Maëlle offers a safe and non-judgmental space to be heard, explore, and heal. She collaboratively works with clients to peel back the layers of who they are, exploring their thoughts, feelings, personal narratives, and mind/body connection to deepen self-awareness and achieve meaningful changes in their lives.

Maëlle is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness therapy, and Narrative therapy. She utilizes a trauma-informed lens and offers a holistic, strengths-based, solution-focused approach to counselling.

With a deep understanding of diverse cultures and backgrounds, Maëlle provides affirming and destigmatizing mental health services. She believes that transformative journeys toward healing begin with empowerment—the ability to make individual choices and take control of one’s narrative.

Outside the therapy space, Maëlle loves camping, going on hikes, and exploring the outdoors with her dog, Suki.

Maëlle offers bilingual counselling services in English and French.
