Originally from Calgary, Lan received a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia. She holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (Dance) from the University of Calgary, and is a graduate of the Professional Training Program at Decidedly Jazz Danceworks. With a strong foundation in both movement science and the arts, she is passionate about providing inclusive, accessible, and trauma-informed care. Lan takes a personalized approach to treatment, combining manual therapy, tailored exercise programs, and education to help clients feel confident in their recovery.
Lan enjoys working with a wide range of clients, including those recovering from injuries, older adults, and active individuals. Lan has a special interest in pelvic health and treating those experiencing incontinence, pelvic pain, and pre/postpartum care. She also works part-time at Vancouver General Hospital, bringing a well-rounded perspective to her clinical practice. Lan has completed Pelvic Health Solutions (PHS) Level 1 and Level 2, as well as Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Level 1.
Lan remains active in the dance community and enjoys supporting both recreational and professional dancers. She has experience working with dancers from Ballet BC, Arts Umbrella, Ballet Vancouver, and Quill Collective. She is also involved with the International Association for Dance Medicine & Science (IADMS) and serves on the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Advocacy (EDIA) committee with Healthy Dancer Canada (HDC).
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys hiking, climbing, and exploring local coffee shops/thrift stores. Lan speaks both English and Vietnamese and is excited to support you in reaching your goals!
