Bio

Shireen is a UBC Human Kinetics 2010 graduate with extensive experience specializing in physical rehabilitation from neurological disorders, concussions, orthopaedic injuries and car accidents. In her spare time she likes to give back to the Kinesiology community and is a mentor to other UBC Kinesiology students and new graduates.

She is known for her upbeat personality and her uncanny ability to successfully inspire, motivate and challenge an athletic population. Shireen prescribes creative and customized functional fitness programs to support your individual goals while being true to her philosophy that exercising should be fun and can be done with a smile.

When Shireen isn’t at work she is outdoors running, hiking, camping and enjoying Beautiful British Columbia with her family. Shireen has run an ultra-marathon and took first place in her age category for the Vancouver Triathlon. She enjoys reaching new goals. On a sunny day you can also spot her riding her candy surf blue Kawasaki motorcycle in her black and yellow corona jacket. If you spot Shireen, be sure to let her know!
