Lan Tran – Student Physiotherapist

Lan is a second-year Master of Physical Therapy student at the University of British Columbia. Originally from Calgary, AB, she holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from the University of Calgary. Her combined background in kinesiology and dance has strengthened her understanding of the human body, shaping her interests in injury prevention and rehabilitation. Lan has previous clinical placement experience across acute care, outpatient rehabilitation, and private practice settings working with diverse populations, including individuals with spinal cord injuries, geriatric patients, and sports injuries. She is passionate about providing inclusive, accessible, and trauma-informed care that supports people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
Outside of the clinic, Lan enjoys hiking, climbing, and exploring local coffee shops and thrift stores. She continues to take dance classes at various studios around Vancouver, and most recently had the opportunity to train and perform with Quill Collective. Lan is fluent in Vietnamese and is excited to support clients in feeling their best and reaching their goals during her clinical placement at PainPRO!
