Bio

Originally from Surrey, BC, Dr. Micaela Dickhof has returned to her roots to practice chiropractic care in the lower mainland. Upon graduation from the University of British Columbia (UBC) with a Bachelor of Kinesiology, Dr. Micaela pursued her chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) and graduated in 2022 with honors.

She practices evidence-based, collaborative, patient-centred care and offers multiple treatment styles. Her expertise and methods include diversified manual manipulation, joint mobilizations, instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy (IASTM), taping, manual/active release therapy, rehabilitative exercises, activity modification, stress management, and sport-specific return to play.

Ensuring patients feel empowered to move their body, go after their goals and live a pain-free life is extremely important to Dr. Micaela. As a life-long learner, she enjoys educating patients about their condition and encourages questions throughout assessment and treatment. Dr. Micaela has a special interest in older individuals, people with shoulder pain or those experiencing headaches.

Growing up she played volleyball, basketball, track and field, and was a women’s softball pitcher for 12 years. She has personal experience with athletic injuries, and now remains active through functional weightlifting and running. You may even find her training for her next half marathon in the local trails!
