Bio

Stephen became interested in health and orthopaedics after sustaining injuries from sports and other activities during his adolescence. This led him to pursue his Bachelor of Human Kinetics and Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia. Providing high-quality care to his clients is of utmost importance to Stephen, and so he strives to create a comfortable environment with an educational and client-centered experience. His post-graduate work includes obtaining his Level One Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedics, and furthering his skills in manual therapy through clinical education with the Mulligan Concept. He utilizes manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, and individualized exercise therapy to address pain and dysfunction. Outside of the clinic, Stephen was a competitive dragon boater for 6 years, and he enjoys practicing martial arts and climbing the walls of bouldering gyms!
