Ray first pursued a career in massage therapy after an acute back injury introduced her to the world of evidence-based alternative medicine. In 2013, she enrolled in the RMT program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy and graduated in 2015. Following graduation, Ray spent three weeks working alongside RMT’s, physiotherapists, chiropractors, and sports doctors at the Pan American Games in Toronto. This experience allowed her to truly understand what goes into an athlete’s health and wellness while competing at an Olympic level. Some of the techniques Ray likes to include in her treatments are myofascial release, trigger point release, and joint mobilizations. When she’s not practicing massage therapy, you can find Ray living an active lifestyle filled with hiking, biking, and competing as an amateur bodybuilder. She’s very passionate about food, nutrition, health, and most importantly, helping her patients maximize their health and wellness.
