Rajani graduated from Yorkville University with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology. She has many years of experience working with children, teenagers, and adults in various environments, including community-based settings and child and youth mental health clinics.
She can demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work with all kinds of people, a non-judgmental attitude, listening skills, and confidentiality. The ability to create meaningful connections with clients while setting professional boundaries to ensure the health and safety of the therapeutic relationship. In addition, being compassionate and empathetic allows her to support resistant clients receive the support they need and work through the challenges and barriers. Rajani can provide service in both English and Punjabi.
Rajani will support you through a holistic, client-focused, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach while incorporating strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She believes in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients choose the treatment path that works best for their counseling journey and to reach their goals.
