Bio

As the second oldest of nine children, Dr. Erin Mailloux developed a strong propensity for caring for others at a young age, which played a large role in her decision to pursue a career as a healthcare practitioner. Being a competitive soccer player and ballet dancer for the majority of her youth, Dr. Mailloux sought to learn more about human body mechanics and physiology and how they related to the health of an individual. She completed a 4-year Bachelor of Science at University of Guelph, majoring in Human Kinetics, followed by a 4-year Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, where she received the Canadian Chiropractic Specialty College of Physical & Occupational Rehabilitation award for excellence in rehabilitation as part of her clinical internship.

Dr. Mailloux employs a comprehensive assessment style and holistic approach to care. She believes that the optimal health of an individual relies on a balance of their physical, mental and emotional wellness. Dr. Mailloux’s treatment style includes a combination of manual muscle work (both hands-on and instrument-assisted), spinal manipulative therapy, and rehabilitative strategies based on an individual’s movement patterns. She has provided care for a wide variety of patients, including those with chronic pain, acute pain and children with developmental and behavioural disabilities.

Dr. Mailloux currently lives downtown Vancouver and enjoys keeping active with yoga, hiking, rock climbing and running.
