Ashley graduated in 2021 from Yorkville University with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. Prior to graduation, Ashley has worked with community mental health programs, and the public health sector supporting both clients and employees with mental health concerns. Ashley’s practice is guided by both personal and professional experience, and she believes that connection to others, along with a safe non-judgemental space to be heard, can support people in their growth, healing, and self-exploration.

With experience as a front-line worker in the healthcare system, Ashley has a passion for supporting front-line staff with critical incident stress, burnout, and compassion fatigue. Ashley enjoys supporting clients with a variety of concerns including return to work, relationships, anxiety, depression, communication, chronic pain, neuroplastic pain, and addiction.

Ashley uses a trauma-informed holistic approach to counselling which includes exploring one’s values, the mind/body connection, somatic experiencing, mindfulness, personal narratives, and solution focused goals and education. Ashley also has an additional certification in Pain Reprocessing Therapy which covers assessments for neuroplastic pain.
