Angelo Graffos B.Sc Kin

Angelo graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology (Health Sciences stream) degree in 2016 and a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences degree in 2019 from UBC. His thesis was focused on the biomechanics of cross-body lunging in individuals with and without femoroacetabular impingement. He hopes that the results of his study will help inform clinicians when prescribing exercises for rehabilitation and improving sport performance.

Angelo is passionate about helping people and inspiring them to succeed, and this is evident in his involvement in various rehabilitation and healthcare settings. He has volunteered at multiple physiotherapy clinics as a physiotherapist assistant and has collaborated with healthcare practitioners at a chronic pain clinic as a clinic volunteer and a member of the research team.

Outside the clinic, Angelo can be found playing tennis, watching Canucks hockey, and supporting children and teenagers with autism in sport and other recreational programs. He also volunteers in the UBC School of Kinesiology as a mentor and a Young Alumni Advisory Group member.
